We wish you a warm welcome in our B&B Hooglandhoeve and request you to take note of our General Terms and Conditions.

  1. General

    • These General Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of B&B Hooglandhoeve, located at Eindekens 63, Geel (Belgium). sten.

    • These Terms and Conditions come into effect when you make a reservation.

    • A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided to guests free of charge upon request.

    • The owners are not liable for damage, loss or theft of property of the guests. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are on the account of the guests.

    • All risks related to a stay in our B&B are on the account of the guests.

    • The owners are not liable for any accidents or illnesses incurred during the stay.

    • Damage and loss of movable and immovable property of the owners must be reported by the guests during the stay and reimbursed to the owners.

    • Guests must follow the instructions from the owners.

    • In the event of violation of these General Terms and Conditions or inappropriate behavior, the owners can deny and/or refuse access to the B&B, without further notification and statement of reasons and without refund of accommodation costs.

    • Guests of our B&B must adhere to the House Rules mentioned below.

  2. Reservation and confirmation

    • A stay can be booked (subject to availability) by e-mail or via the reservation form on the website (hooglandhoeve.be) or via other booking­channels.

    • After entering the requested information on the website you will be redirected to the payment form. During the payment, the room will be reserved for you until you decide whether or not to proceed with the final payment. After payment of the amount, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the booking information.

    • When paying via the website (hooglandhoeve.be), the booking will only be final after the booking has been accepted by the owners. If this is not the case, the amount paid will be refunded in full without deduction of costs as soon as possible to the account from which the payment has been made. In the case of a payment via Mollie, it is not visible to us from which account the payment has been made. In that case you will be asked to provide your IBAN account number.

    • Reference is made to these General Terms and Conditions on the reservation form of the website.

  3. Payment

    • If an advance is paid, this is at least 50% of the full accommodation costs. The balance is payable at the latest at the end of the stay. This can only be done in cash, via Payconiq or by means of a bank transfer which is confirmed on site. In case of cancellation, the deposit remains paid.

    • In exceptional cases and only in consultation, the accommodation costs can be paid in cash or via Payconiq upon departure.

    • The current rates can be found under ‘Prices & Reservation’ on our website.

  4. Breakfast

    • Breakfast can be enjoyed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Other hours or arrangements can be agreed upon in consultation.

    • Guests are responsible for informing us of any allergies, food intolerances or diets.

  5. Cancellation

    • We understand that there can always be unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from coming. If this is the case, we kindly ask you to report this to us as soon as possible.

    • In the event of timely cancellation up to 30 days before the commencement date, a refund of the amount paid minus the administrative costs will be made. After that, the first night must be paid. If the guest does not show up, the total price of the reservation must be paid. We therefore advise you to consider taking a cancellation insurance, if you do not already have one.
